Prelude Before the Throne of God Above
Opening Hymn* Yet Not I but Through Christ In Me
Call to Worship (based on Matthew 22:1-14)
Ldr: The King has prepared a feast, and everything is ready.
Ppl: Come, for the table has been set at great cost, and the invitation is for us.
Ldr: We confess that we have often made light of this invitation, distracted by our own farms and our own business.
Ppl: Forgive us, Lord, for letting the ordinary crowd out the eternal.
Ldr: Yet the King’s mercy does not close the doors — it sends us further still, into every street, gathering all who will come.
Ppl: No one is too far off, too broken, or too unlikely for this grace.
Ldr: But the King who invites us also clothes us, for presence alone was never the goal.
Ppl: Clothe us, Lord, in the righteousness that is not our own.
All: We come this day not merely to occupy a seat, but to be transformed by the One who set the table. Let us be found ready, clothed, and rejoicing in the feast you have prepared. Amen.

Weekly Prayer & Reflection:
The Parable of the Wedding Banquet focuses on responding to God's gracious invitation, laying aside worldly distractions, and clothing oneself in His righteousness
Gratitude for the Invitation: Thank God for opening the doors of His kingdom and extending a personal invitation to feast at His table, not because of your own merit, but by His grace
Confession of Distractions: Acknowledge the times you have prioritized daily work, material worries, or worldly business over intimate communion with God (like those who went off to their farms or merchandise)
Surrender of Pride: Pray for a humble heart that accepts the garment of Christ’s righteousness rather than trying to stand in your own self-sufficiency.
Mission and Outreach: Ask the Lord to give you a bold and welcoming spirit to go out into the "main roads and street corners" to invite others—both near and far—to experience the good news of Jesus.
